The Clusius Foundation is completely dependent on private funds, gifts,
legacies and appointments of heir to finance its activities. Besides a
general donation it is also possible to support a specific activity such
as the Chair or a Clusius Lecture.
By means of a periodical or single contribution one may express one’s
affinity with the study and sharing of knowledge of the historical,
cultural and international aspects of gardens and landscapes. Donors are
involved with activities such as lectures, symposia and special events.
The Foundation is considered a Charitable Foundation from 1 January 2008
on the grounds of article 6.33 Act on income tax 2001. This makes single
contributions deductible for income tax, within certain limits. Annual
